Festival 2017 Whangarei

We are pleased to announce that Festival 2017 will be held in Whangarei from Thursday August 3 to Saturday August 5.  At this point, we are exploring options for Thursday and anticipate most bands will perform on Friday/Saturday as has been the practice.

Gratitude to Whangarei Youth Music for hosting this wonderful event for us all.

Band Camp in New Plymouth POSTPONED

Band Camp, a initiate which has evolved from Senior Band weekend, had been planned for October this year.  Due to issues with venues, we decided postponing the event to 2017 would sensible.

Errol Moore, MD, and the host band, The Great Taranaki Steam Band, will be deciding the best weekend to run Band Camp (which will involve camping only if you want to), probably in April/May.
Please stay tuned!  The weekend will be perfect for musicians who want to meet new muso friends of all ages from all over (grade 3 to 4 band music will be selected).

New Zealand Youth Symphonic Winds 2017
